DuPont shift calendar 2027
The DuPont work schedule is a 28 day rotation of 12 hour shifts that four crews run to cover the clock: 4 nights, 3 off, 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 3 off, 4 days, then 7 days off. It came out of DuPont's chemical plants in the 1950s and still runs in refineries, paper mills, and other continuous process plants.
People take it for the full week off at the end of every cycle, and put up with the rough middle: a single day off to flip from day shifts back to nights. This page shows the whole of 2027 on real dates for a crew whose cycle starts January 1.
